Back from Hiatus by Richard Weber

I’ve been traveling a lot and am now back and settling back in. I’ve given the old Studio Zim website an overhaul and an update with new works and a new name.

I’m still working on the online shop which should be available soon! If interested in any prints on the site or on instagram let me know and I can get you a quote.

Thanks for checking in and it’s great to be back!

Introducing Workshops! by Richard Weber

I've had a lot of requests for photography classes over the last year and I've decided to now offer a couple of different workshops for people who are interested in learning more about digital and film photography.

Workshops will last for 1 month and will be limited to 8 students per workshop. Both workshops are geared to those with little to no knowledge of photography fundamentals. The goal by the end of the workshop is to have a basic understanding and use of your camera and how and why it works the way it does. For a broader course description and reserve a spot please click here.

These classes make a great gift or a great new years resolution to improve and expand your photography knowledge.

For an extra $35 I will include a print package that includes 1 8"x10", 2 5x7" and 5 4"x"6 for 5 photos of your choice.

This special runs through December 17th. These make great gifts and it's always nice to capture family reunions and special holiday moments! Hope everyone has a safe and fun holiday season, thanks for reading!!

Print 17 by Richard Weber

A few months ago I was commissioned to provide photography for a Chicago-themed series of photo books for Screen Americas at the Print 17 Expo here in town. The books capture the people and places that make this city so special. It was a pleasure to help craft these books and a huge thank you to Screen Americas for supporting my photography.

If you happened to go to the expo I hoped you grabbed a copy. They turned out very nicely:

Updates & Snapshots by Richard Weber

It's been a busy summer with a few projects in the pipeline. Thought I'd take an opportunity to post a few creative items I've been working on in my down time. Feels like summer is quickly drawing to a close with fall and the holidays around the corner.

It's been a busy engagement season, congratulations to all those lovebirds out there! I've been seeing a lot of people also sprucing up their headshots for career changes or updates. I've been excited to be working on a big project that should be announced pretty soon.

In the meantime I've been hitting the streets, capturing and documenting the people and places that make me excited to live in such a dynamic and interesting city. Love you, Chicago. Here's a few examples....
